1. club culture

Our association is socially integrating and is an important part of our village community Husen and Kurl. He should appeal to young and old as well as native and foreign alike.

We have over 90 years of tradition. Preserving the past - mastering the present - equipping the club for the future - are our driving forces. Our club culture is based on the participation of many volunteer helpers without whom
Club life would not be possible.

Dortmund is increasingly changing into a multicultural society. The integration of immigrants is very important to us in order to offer the new fellow citizens opportunities to contact, to learn the German language, to overcome isolation
and ultimately to enrich our culture.

We expect from all board members, the coaches and carers, the parents, the senior players and also by the young people themselves an exemplary behavior on the sports field.

2. Association policy

2.1 Board

The board is made up of representatives of the junior and senior sections. The junior section prepares the framework conditions for the youth teams and ensures the play and training operation. In addition, extra-sports activities are to be initiated by the representatives of the junior department.

All board members have a role model in many ways. Objective behavior towards young members, teams, coaches, parents and caregivers is an important requirement. The members and volunteers of the association are comprehensively informed about measures of the board.

The working methods of the board should be contemporary and modern. A constant improvement process is an integral part of our philosophy. Within the board there is a division of labor cooperation, which is usually
derive from the duties of the department.

To ensure that our children are educated and promoted in the long term, the conditions under which our young footballers learn must be optimized. For this, the junior department must have the sporting goals in the junior area
define.

One of the tasks of the board is to provide optimal support for the junior teams. The youth department is responsible for a qualified education of youth coaches and caregivers. For this regular training is offered (DFB-Mobil, DFB short trainings, internal trainings, etc.)

The Seniorenabteilung ensures the play and training operation of the 1M to 4M. It defines the sporting goals of the senior teams. The success or failure is closely linked to the training of players in the youth field. The goal is to be able to take over as many players from their own youth in the 1M and 2M. In addition, extra-sport activities should be planned and carried out by the representatives of the senior citizen department. These include the HSM, the Christmas market, etc.
Both departments support each other in all extra-sports activities.

2.2 parents

The parents play an indispensable role in our club. It is unimaginable to maintain a sufficient game operation without the help of the parents or to hold a big event like the U14 Whitsun tournament.

These are primarily support measures. It must always be clear to our footballers that the coach is the person responsible.

Collaboration is particularly helpful and desirable in the following places:

● Parents help transport children to games andtraining sessions.
● Parents take care of the cleaning of the jerseys.
● Parents support the trainer as a helper in training. They take on the
instructions of the trainer certain tasks.
● Parents help plan extra-sports activities.

● Parents undertake organizational tasks such as looking after the invited teams, entertaining the teams and spectators, and much morewhen organizing their own football tournaments .

Parents should be aware of their role model function and behave accordingly on the sidelines. The Youth Implementation Regulations already prescribe fair play leagues for the G and F youth (U6 - U9), which clearly define the role of the parents. Our trainers should clearly communicate this at the beginning of the season, for example at parents' evenings.

2.3 Trainer and supervisor

Football is more than just sport! True to this motto, coaches and supervisors are more than just football teachers. However, this presupposes that all those responsible adhere to the following basic rules and "live" them.

SOCIAL EXPERTISE SURPRISING

Reliability: No one is more punctual than the coach and supervisor. The absence or absence during games or training is only in absolute exceptional cases.

Preparation for training and play: coaches do not come to training unprepared. Ideally, the coach makes a season plan on the content that he wants to train in this year and speaks this to the season preparation with the sporting direction.

Provide joy and fun: Especially the vintages under the performance range must be brought slowly to the performance range. The fun is in addition to the sporting objectives in these vintages also in the center. Ensure a good atmosphere.

Behavior on and off the court - be a role model: behave the way you expect it from your players. Whether referee, opponent, parent or groundskeeper, take back in conflicts and solve them peacefully.

Speech: "He who cries is wrong". Shine calmness, prudence and sovereignty. The players are your partners. Expressions of force have no place in child and youth football. Physical and mental violence are an absolute taboo.

Conflict and problem solver: It is important for the team hygiene conflicts immediately
to solve. Bullying within the team must be immediately recognized and stopped.

Basic rules of conduct for players, coaches, supervisors and board members

● Punctuality and reliability
● Kindness - Teamwork
● Cleanliness on the system
● Criticism
● helpfulness
● Fair play
● honesty

3. Club goals

The training of our youth players is the focus of our sporting activities. We always question the status quo in terms of continuous improvement. The orientation in our junior department is designed for the medium to long term.
In addition to the development of team performance, it is also essential to promote individual performance development.

4. Sporting orientation in the junior area

● We want to play with teams in all official age groups.
● We will offer children of all abilities an opportunity to practice football.
● All registered children should be given the opportunity to participate in this game operation. (Formation of several teams of one age group)
● We will offer the children a good education and care with the means given to us. The continuous development of the players is in the foreground.
● Our trainers should have the opportunity to continuously expand their qualifications.
● Performance is important, but not equal to success.

4.1 General information on the area U7 (Minis) to U19 (A-Youth Old-Age)

For capacitive reasons, we aim to have no more than 15 youth teams in play and training (G1 / 2/3, F1 / 2/3, E1 / 2/3, D1 / 2, C1 / 2, B1, A1).

From the F-youth, the first teams of the highest-performing players / players of the respective vintages get together. The selection of these players meet the coaches of the first teams of these vintages.

The goal of this measure is to improve players' footballing development compared to pure vintage-based teams. Unaffected by this measure, the training focuses are to be taught according to the age group. For this, the youth department should create a corresponding framework training plan.

The permeability between the individual teams within a year range should be handled very flexibly. The progress of individual adolescents must be taken into account.

The coaches themselves must bring a corresponding athletic qualification. The decision on the suitability of the coach meets the youth leader.

Regardless of this approach, another primary objective is to allow second and additional teams to play. The 2M should be a young age if possible while the 3M may be a mixed vintage. These teams should not be inferior in importance to the first teams, but also not compete with them.

The teams are, as is common in modern football, broken down into so-called U-Ages from U7 to U19.

4.2 Area G-Juniors (U6-U7)

● In G-Youth, the children are divided into classes. The G1 is the vintage, the G2 the young and the G3 is a mixed crew. In cases of under-demand of a player, an exception regarding the age rule between coach, coordinator and youth leader can be discussed.
● Acquiring minidrums is a permanent task of the junior department in cooperation with the respective coaches and the coordinator responsible. Contacts with kindergartens and schools must be established and constantly maintained. Ideally, this cooperation will take place through long-term cooperation agreements.
● In addition, there are further advertising measures in the form of flyers,
extra sports activities (eg waffle sales) and kindergarten tournaments too
accelerate.

4.3 Range F- to E- Juniors (U8-U11)

1. Within a year range (eg F-juniors) all coaches have to participate in the overall effects of this area. They therefore share responsibility for this area.

2. The naming of the players of the first team will be done by the coach of the 1M.

3. The questions about the size of the individual squads in the teams and the common training time should be a joint task of the coaches of an area with the participation of the youth leader.

4. It is also expected that even upper-level players will help out in "lower" teams. Players who refuse to take such measures will be excluded from the game on that match day.

Accompanying measures for this area:

As a basis for a good youth work in the whole club, especially in this area must be constantly worked on the recruitment. A permanent cooperation with schools must be striven for.,

4.4 Range D- to C- Juniors (U12-U15)

The area of the D-, C- juniors is known to be the biggest sporting challenge for a junior division and is considered a golden learning age. We also want to take players to higher levels of league affiliation and league retention and training work.

In addition, we should be aware that a teenager from the age of D junior, who offers the possibility of a change to a higher-class club, this opportunity must not be blocked. The performance of the individual player should also be our priority. The consent of the parents concerned is always required.

4.5 Area B- to A- Juniors (U16-U19)

In the performance area, the players' ability to perform should be brought to the center of attention, ie:

The goal is to reach the highest leagues. This requires great effort and can only be achieved in the medium or long term.

The training must meet the performance standard of the adolescents and the age-specific requirements. For the adolescents who have not yet reached this standard, the goal must be to introduce the adolescents to them.

The following topics are to be worked on by the trainers:

● Proposals for the transfer to senior citizens (A-Jugend)
● Upgrading from junior to senior citizen (A-Youth)
● Create support measures
● Acquisition of talented young people for volunteer work in the youth field
● player search (also with a view seniors area)
